2nd Boks for Books library opens in Pinetown

The South African Rugby Union's (SARU) major Corporate Social Investment (CSI) initiative to supply fully stocked mobile or refurbished libraries to previously disadvantaged schools, opened their second library at the Kwamanzini Primary School, in Pinetown on Thursday morning. SARU launched the ambitious CSI project in June this year in Durban, a function that was attended by the Springbok captain Jean de Villiers, and SARU President Mr Oregan Hoskins. Condolences from Mayor

EThekwini Mayor James Nxumalo has sent his condolences to the Cele family following the passing away of two children at Luganda in Marianhill on Saturday 26 October. The two children, Alwande Ngcobo (3) and Senamile Cele (3) drowned in a pit which filled up with water after heavy rains. Mayor Nxumalo visited the family on Sunday.
